What the Perito Moreno glacier is

Perito Moreno is among the three largest freshwater reserves on the planet. Length — 30 km, area — 250 sq km. Unlike most glaciers in the world, it doesn't melt — replenishment from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field is roughly equal to losses.

The glacier is on the UNESCO World Heritage list as part of Los Glaciares National Park.
