Paso Garibaldi

First stop on the route — Paso Garibaldi (450 m). On a clear day you see both lakes at once — Fagnano (Pacific basin) and Escondido (Atlantic). This is the watershed of the two oceans.

Photos here turn out postcard-worthy: snowy peaks, autumn — scarlet and golden beech trees (lenga).

Lago Escondido

The first lake on the route, high altitude. Surrounded by untouched forest. Stop, walk, sometimes — a picnic on the shore.

Lago Fagnano (Kami)

One of the largest lakes in Tierra del Fuego. Length — 102 km. The border between Argentina and Chile runs right along the lake. From the shore you see the Chilean part of the island.
